Although we pour meticulous attention into the production of stainless steel sculptures, due to their hand – made nature, each custom – made work may differ from the displayed pictures. There may be slight differences in surface treatment, casting, symmetry, and detail handling. This makes each piece more unique and better able to add luster to your beautiful life.

Size guide

Our size options refer to the maximum measurement of the sculpture in terms of width or height, while other specific dimensions will be shown in the CAD/3D drawing. For custom orders, please inform us of your desired dimensions. If you are unsure, you can let us know your size constraints, and we will design accordingly.

ORDERING GUIDE

Photos

We create your bust based on ordinary photos you can take yourself. At a minimum, we need five photos:

Front view

One from the left and one from the right
One from the left – half and one from the right – half at a 45 – degree angle.
You can also choose to have a scan. For this, you’ll use a scanner (a type of “3D camera”) to take photos. As a result, we’ll measure you to within a fraction of a millimeter, and then our artists will refine the result. This procedure is the most accurate way to create a bust.
If the person has passed away,we can also carve a bust based on existing photos. Please feel free to send the photos to us by email in advance for approval.

Carving

We carve busts on the computer, which is in sharp contrast to traditional sculptors and modelers. For this, we use ultra – modern and even self – developed software. Of course, educated artists will model the busts.

Preview Images

After completing the carving,we’ll send you preview images from multiple angles—before we start manufacturing the bust! Now, you can calmly check the results and comment on change requests. We’ll handle these change requests and send you new preview images. Only after obtaining your approval will we start manufacturing the bust!

Manufacturing the Bust

To make the actual bust, we use several 3D printers and even CNC – controlled milling machines. Therefore, we can even make busts several meters in size!

Gilding and Patina Color

After printing, the bust will be polished and then gilded in several layers. Our artists need to be especially careful because the patina solution must be applied to the still – wet gilding. The color change is induced by a chemical process, as this verdigris is not a pigment.

True Bronze Color

Since ancient times, bronze has almost always been the first choice for creating expressive and indestructible sculptures. Thus, a bust cast in bronze is the highest embodiment of a human portrait. The combination of the metal’s fine luster and the vivid verdigris particularly highlights the characteristics of each bust.When making a bust on our 3D printer, it will then be cast at our partner’s (a long – established art foundry). After application, the chasing and patination are completed.

Our payment method is to collect a deposit as an advance payment. You can pay 50% of the amount as an advance payment first, and pay the remaining amount when the goods are ready.

Bronze Custom Bust Care Guide

Daily Maintenance

Cleaning
Regular Dusting: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the surface every 1 – 2 weeks. This prevents dust buildup that can dull the bronze’s patina.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Never use abrasive materials (e.g., steel wool, sandpaper) or chemical cleaners (bleach, ammonia). They damage the patina and bronze surface.
Light Stains: For minor spots, dampen a cloth with lukewarm water + mild soap (pH – neutral), then dry immediately.
Environmental Protection
Indoor Placement: Keep busts away from direct sunlight (fades patina) and extreme temperature/humidity changes (causes cracking). Ideal humidity: 40% – 50%; temperature: 18°C – 24°C.
Outdoor Display: If placed outside, choose a shaded area. Apply a clear, UV – resistant wax annually to protect against weathering. Reapply after heavy rain/snow.

Long - Term Preservation

Patina Care

Natural Patina Evolution: Bronze patina develops over time—this “living finish” is part of the sculpture’s charm. Avoid excessive polishing; let it age gracefully.

Restoring Shine: For dull areas, use a specialized bronze wax (non – abrasive). Apply thin layers, buff gently for a subtle sheen.

Structural Checks

Annually Inspect: Check for loose parts, cracks, or corrosion (rare with proper care). Contact us for professional repair if issues arise—we offer restoration services for our busts.

Emergency Care

Accidental Damage: If scratched or chipped, stop cleaning immediately. Contact our team; we’ll guide you on temporary protection (e.g., soft cloth covering) until professional repair.

Flood/Fire Exposure: Dry thoroughly (if wet) and consult us ASAP. Timely action prevents permanent damage.
